I started this cartoon idea in my silly little notebook at a professional conference where everyone had their laptops and iphones out the whole time. To be fair it’s a tech conference. Anyway, me trying to tap out a text on my beat-up green RAZR like Morse code just made me miss my TWO iphones. That’s how many iphones I’ve broken so for the foreseeable future Flippy and I are stuck together. But not homeless.
Anyway, as you can see in the video I thoughtfully recorded for your dumpster diving pleasure, Photoshop gave me the old hard crash towards the end. I haven’t had the chance to finish it.

This drawing by legendary Mad Magazine cartoonist Wally Wood is own of my main inspirations for a few reasons. 1) The man can draw like a motherfucker! (Even master illustrators like to draw smut – if you don’t believe me feel free to ask. I’ll show you) 2) It’s naughty without being vile. Less is more. I thought this drawing was rated X the first time I saw it but as you can see there’s hardly any nudity. 3) It is also some scathing satire of one of pop culture’s sacred cows.
As you can see, Cartoon Dumpster is almost ready to launch. I’m currently tweaking the website and inking some comics so I should be able to start regular updates soon. In the mean time you’ll notice some rough sketches and other crap.
